The Scottish Government has announced one new coronavirus death and 677 cases in Scotland overnight.
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 237,066 since the start of the global outbreak last year.
Since that time, 7,670 have sadly lost their lives to the virus.
A total of 114 people are currently being treated in hospital with 10 receiving intensive care treatment.
Meanwhile, 3,286,261 people have now received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine with 2,106,177 having had second jags.
The figures come as Nicola Sturgeon confirmed Glasgow would move into level 2 restrictions at the weekend.
Scotland's biggest city has been stuck at Level 3 for the past three weeks while the rest of the country enjoyed an easing of rules.
But the First Minister told the Scottish Parliament that while some local authorities could move to Level 1 on Saturday, others will remain at Level 2.
Edinburgh and Midlothian, Dundee, East Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire, North and South Lanarkshire, Clackmannanshire and Stirling will all remain under Level 2 restrictions.
Sturgeon said that the country was at a "delicate and fragile" point in the pandemic with cases of the new Indian variant now accounting for more than half of cases.
