The Scottish Government have confirmed 16 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The death toll since March 2020 – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – is now 10,512.
The latest figures for Scotland showed 5,601 new cases had also been identified overnight.
There are currently 888 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 22 being treated in intensive care.
So far 4,426,094 people have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccination, 4,141,713 given a second dose and 3,344,551 have received a third dose or booster.
Thew new figures come as Scots health expert has warned that removing the coronavirus self-isolation rules now would be a "step too far" and would risk undoing progress in tackling the virus.
Jillian Evans, head of health intelligence at NHS Grampian, urged a slow and cautious move out of the existing restrictions.
The requirement to self-isolate is expected to be lifted in England by the end of February, following an announcement by the Prime Minister.
England's current self-isolation rules expire on March 24 but Boris Johnson said he hopes to bring them to an end a month ahead of that.
The rules remain in place in Scotland though Nicola Sturgeon has said she will publish a new strategic framework for dealing with Covid-19 on February 22.
