A FLOTILLA activist who was imprisoned by Israel has been "rushed to hospital" after returning to Scotland.
Margaret Pacetta arrived in Glasgow on Monday evening after she was deported from Israel over the weekend.
Speaking to The National, she described the "horrific" conditions she was subject to while held in the notorious Ketziot prison, where human rights abuses have been well documented.
Pacetta, who was sailing on the Omar Al Mokhtar boat along with fellow Scottish activist Yvonne Ridley, had a broken leg while sailing and developed a chest infection, which worsened her asthma condition.

She claimed Israeli prison officers had confiscated her nebuliser, before returning it to her without the medication to go with it.
Pacetta also showed The National a bruise on her arm which she said was from Israeli guards "grabbing her", adding that she had similar marks "all over her body".

The 71-year-old grandmother also said guards had "slammed a metal door" on her broken leg after learning of her injury, adding that she was constantly "shoved" and "pushed".
The National understands Pacetta was taken to hospital during Monday night after having difficulty breathing.
She reported having "issues" with her leg and was also dehydrated.

She also has multiple infections and a high blood count.
It is understood doctors are set to perform an X-ray on her leg, and she is currently on a drip.
The news comes as the three remaining Scottish activists – Yvonne Ridley, Jim Hickey and Sid Khan – were part of the 131 people released from Israel on Tuesday morning.
Reports suggest a number of activists are still detained – but The National understands all UK participants have now been deported.
