Hull-headquartered construction procurement firm Pagabo has opened its first Scottish office.

Pagabo provides local authorities and public sector bodies with compliant framework agreements for the procurement of construction works and goods.

It recently received significant equity house investment to support growth amvbitions.

Jason Stapley, managing director of Pagabo, said: “Our expansion over recent years has been focussed on serving areas with dedicated services and team members, but it’s important for us to take this one step further with a physical base.

"With the post-pandemic recovery and its associated opportunities underway, we will be able to centre our Scottish operations from this central position and work much more closely and collaboratively with businesses and public sector organisations to produce the best possible outcomes.”

Projects worth more than £230 million are being lined up in Scotland.

Mr Queen said: “I’m very pleased to be able to play a role in establishing the business in Scotland and spearhead the new Motherwell office, making the most of my experience to help push the business forwards.”
