Scottish Cup: Ayrshire sides land League Two opposition in second round draw

Ayrshire non-league sides Cumnock and Kilwinning Rangers are set to face SPFL League Two opposition in the second round of the Scottish Cup.

Four Ayrshire sides from the West of Scotland League were among the 40 teams in the hat for this evening's draw.

And Cumnock were handed the toughest tie of them all after they were drawn at home to Dumbarton who have a 100 per cent record in League Two and currently top the division.

Kilwinning Rangers will host Forfar Athletic - currently third bottom of League Two - after seeing off Tranent in yesterday's first round clash.

Auchinleck and Darvel will hit the road to face Lowland League sides Bon'ess Utd and Dalbeattie Star respectively.

Ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday, October 22.
