Scottish communications agency launches new engagement service

A Scottish communications business has launched a new data-driven service to connect commerce, causes and policy makers in addressing common challenges.

Glasgow-based Dram Communications provides corporate communications services to both local and global organisations.

The new service, Data Distil, was developed to create evidence for stakeholder engagement and analysis, which should in turn create greater impact for its client base.

It uses data science, analytics, artificial intelligence techniques and visualisation tools to promote 'informed dialogue'.

Dram worked with The Data Lab and its TORCH Business Advisory Service on its launch, getting access to data experts, as well as innovation and community support.

David Ross, managing partner at Dram Communications, said: “We are thrilled to have launched our new service which will help to grow the business and benefit our current and future clients.

“The TORCH team connected us to a range of relevant contacts and opportunities in the Data for Good space which has accelerated the development of Data Distil, including a 12-month Data Leadership training programme and funding to take on a master’s student for a work placement.”

Brian Hills, deputy chief executive at The Data Lab, commented: “A lot of businesses are naturally looking at what the next steps are as we emerge from the pandemic.

“We are delighted to have supported Dram with the development of this new service which helps to inform their strategic communications work and I would encourage businesses looking at utilising data to elevate their offering to get in touch with our TORCH team for support.”
