Scott Wolf’s first victory in divorce a crushing blow to estranged wife Kelley Wolf, but she is ‘happy’ because she is ‘special’

The Scott Wolf and Kelley Wolf divorce has finally reached a middle ground of relative tranquility — but even that came at a great cost for Kelley.

Kelley took to her trusted Instagram to give fans an update on her current state of mind. In a post with a locked comment section, she posted a video of herself enjoying a day in a cabin. Kelley is in the company of a small dog and lights up a candle as she listens to music. The caption mentions how love makes the world go round, and that she loves her fans. Above all, she stresses that she is happy, reminding that life feels “heavy,” remember that you are “special. Clearly, Kelley is either confident that this temporary transfer of power will be reversed soon or she is taking the loss of her children a little too well.

It’s been a turbulent year for the Scotts. The most concerning incident in the discord between the two happened on June 13, when a call to the police was made from their matrimonial home. People was able to obtain a transcript of the call and reported that the police were dispatched to their home to intervene in a “family fight.”

Reportedly, Kelley was making concerning comments to a family member, and when the police deputies arrived on the scene, she made similar comments to them, too. The police assured Kelley that they were not there to arrest her but instead to help her get mental assistance. She was then taken to a local hospital.

Kelley, however, did not take the police intervention well. She posted frantic updates on her Instagram stories, per People, saying that she’s both the happiest she’s ever been and that they were taking her against her will, urging that someone should check on her kids.

Scott responded to the unsettling behavior by asking for a restraining order and sole custody. Some friends and fans called that move devastating and unfair — similar celebrities like Halle Bailey have made the same move, and honestly, sometimes it’s just the only option to be made. After two weeks of waiting, he was granted sole and legal custody of their kids.

Billy Bush, who has been a longtime friend of the family and is best known for his infamous Trump interview, was more hopeful about the entire situation. Billy said, “I talked to her, talked to her myself, one-on-one personally about it. She’s got excellent parents. They’re on it. She’s a beautiful person, and so is Scott.”

If you look at how Kelley and her friends are talking, it’s clear she’s taking time to recover and get back to a place where she can be the loving friend and mother she can be. Scott Wolf has to take care of their children and protect them from whatever harm might come their way; the sad part here is that it just seems like the source of the harm is temporarily their own mother.

According to reports, Kelley can still visit the children under the supervision of an agreed-upon third party. She’s also not allowed to post about the children, their divorce, or Scott on her Instagram or any other social media page. If she ignores these orders, she might attract a fine or even jail time.
