Scots woman with terminal cancer desperate to marry soulmate after being given weeks to live

An appeal has been launched to give a Scots woman with terminal cancer her dream wedding.

Angela Gregory was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in March 2018 and underwent numerous treatments, surgery and chemotherapy in a bid to fight the disease.

The 46-year-old has now tragically been told by doctors she only has just weeks to live.

Angela's final wish is to marry the love of her life Murdo after he proposed.

The pair have been together for 12 years and are desperate to tie the knot.

Wedding Wish Makers has stepped in and arranged a venue for the couple to marry on Tuesday, July 20.

A fundraiser has been set up to help pay for wedding costs and is just over £500 away from its goal, sitting at £1,455.

A post on the Just Giving page said: "Angela (46) was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer March 2018, after numerous treatments, surgery and chemotherapy, Angela was given the devastating news a few days ago... She only has weeks to live

"Angela and her partner Murdo have been together for 12 years, Murdo proposed to Angela a couple of nights ago and they want to get married ASAP.

"We are appealing for funds to help pay for a venue and additional things we would need to pay to give Angela and Murdo their dream wedding."
