Scots teen who vanished with ‘unknown men’ sparking frantic search found by police

Police have confirmed that a Scots teenager who vanished with ‘two unknown men’ in the early hours of Friday morning has been found.

Alana Plummer’s frantic family issued a desperate appeal for help to find the 17-year-old after she failed to return to her home in Grangemouth, near Falkirk.

Police urged members of the public to get in touch if they knew of her whereabouts after she was last spotted on CCTV at around 2am yesterday.

Her family said they were growing increasingly worried after not hearing from her for 24 hours with her phone going to voicemail.

She had also gone silent on her social media pages.

But Police Scotland have now confirmed that the teenager has been located safe and well.

They said: “Good news. Alana Plummer, who had been missing from the Grangemouth area since Friday, 5 November, 2021, has been traced safe and well.

“Thanks for all your comments and shares.”
