Scots takeaway creates chips, cheese and curry sauce pizza and foodies love it

A Scots takeaway has delighted foodies by creating a pizza with one of the country's favourite delicacies - chips, cheese and curry sauce.

Spicy Bite in Edinburgh came up with the genius idea on Tik Tok as they slapped a pizza base with the takeaway favourites.

Staff posted a video making the delicious creation, using curry sauce instead of the usual tomato before covering it with a sprinkling of cheese.

The chef then loaded it with chips and more cheese before baking it in the oven until golden brown and melted.

Uploading it to Tik Tok, the takeaway wrote: "It actually tasted amazing!"

Fans were amazed by the pizza and took to the comments desperate to try the creative dish.

One wrote: "I would 100% buy one of those."

Another commented: "Tell me you're in Scotland without telling me you're in Scotland."

It comes as a Glasgow takeaway claims to have produced the largest German doner kebab ever seen in the UK - weighing in at just over seven stone.

Staff at Yayas, which is based on Paisley Road West in the city, were challenged to create the largest kebab they could possibly make by a punter one evening.

The huge kebab uses 45kg of doner meat, which nestles inside of four and a half feet of bread - with an accompaniment of some fresh palate cleansing salad.
