Christmas will be a little brighter for a kennel of Scots rescue dogs who received a bundle of surprise festive parcels.
The Scottish SPCA have thanked a kind member of the public, or 'Santa Paws' for the donation of one parcel for each dog.
Pooches at the Lanarkshire centre each received a gift bag with a dog wearing a Santa hat on the front.

SSPCA staff shared an adorable snap of the gifts hanging up on the dog's cages on Facebook.
A statement from the charity read: "Our dogs at the Lanarkshire centre are ready for Christmas!
"Santa Paws has sent them their very own goody bags courtesy of a kind member of the public.
"Thank you so much for the donation!"
In just a few hours the post has amassed over 4,000 likes and almost 3,00 shares.
Deanna Ferguson commented: "Thank you to all the people who help these forgotten pets, you are all angels.
Sandra Lee Myles added: "Wish it was empty cages for Christmas, but great to see they are getting some Christmas love.
"Merry Christmas, fur babies."

Diane Hoskins added: "What a fantastic suggestion.
"The dog's deserve to have a fantastic Christmas too.
"Woof woof!
"Merry Christmas."
