Scots model Emma Louise Connolly puts out message to 'mum-shamers' ahead of giving birth

Pregnant Scots model Emma Louise Connolly put out a message to mum-shamers ahead of giving birth - after she told them she was using an electric blanket.

Emma, who is married to Made in Chelsea's Oliver Proudlock has been receiving messages from people trying to give her pregnancy advice ahead of her impending birth.

Emma married Proudlock in December 2020 and announced on social media that she was expecting her first born in December.

She has since been pictured in a variety of poses showing off her growing bump.

The 30 year old, who revealed she still can fit into a size extra small in some clothing despite her ever growing tummy, put out a notice on her social media after she felt people were interfering.

She posted up a Stay In Your Lane traffic sign and wrote with a laughing emoji: "A small reminder for those in my DMs with the unsolicited pregnancy advice. Please don't be that person."

Emma's comments came after she had earlier posted up a video of herself in bed using an electric blanket.

The World Health Organisation recommends that pregnant women discontinue heating blanket use while pregnant, as developing foetuses can be sensitive to environmental conditions and in early pregnancy may be associated with a slightly increased risk of a miscarriage.
