Scots lockdown expected to be eased with golf, fishing and tennis back on agenda

Scots golfers could soon be able to enjoy a round again- with Nicola Strugeon expected to announce steps for relaxing the lockdown this week.

As well as golf, fishing and tennis could also be allowed again as well as the reopening of garden and recycling centres.

The First Minister is expected to make an announcement on Tuesday, according to The Times.

But it is thought she will not relax the rules on meeting with people from other households.

The Scottish Government is also working on major transport transition plans, with the number of rail passengers still low.

The First Minister has said previously she will reduce the lockdown in 'stages'.

She said:  "Our judgement is that, given the case numbers and the R number, there is a risk in moving too quickly right now.

"However, that judgement moves and develops on a daily basis."
