A Scots girl has made a heartwarming video of her doing sign-language to her favourite song in a bid to lift the spirits of the nation.
Sophie Skilling, who has Down's syndrome, signed the words to George Ezra's smash hit Shotgun, whist singing and dancing along in her bedroom.
The 16-year-old from, Shotts, North Lanarkshire had suggested making the video to her mum, Jane, to "make everyone happy" after missing her own daily routine due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Jane said: "She watches singing hands and picks up sign language from there and today we chatted about doing a rainbow on the window and she wasn't up to that and said oh wait Mum I'll do this and this will make everyone happy, which am sure has."
Mum-of-two Jane says although Sophie, who is also autistic, doesn't fully grasp the enormity of the pandemic, she is finding a way to get through missing going to school.

Jane said: "She doesn't fully understood but is really missing structure and routines of school. She has Autism and Down Syndrome.
"A wee bit of signing is what's keeping my girl going everyday since she is off school. Her smile would light up any room."

Jane shared Sophie's incredible video on Facebook and it left viewers amazed.
One said: "Your daughter is so beautiful and you are right about her smile! Well done!
