Scots flat worth £115k with 'no bedroom' leaves online house hunters baffled

House hunters have been left in disbelief at a £115k flat in Glasgow that doesn’t have a bedroom - in the traditional sense.

The only bed is squeezed on to a ledge above a couch.

The listing for the “one-bedroom” property, which is based in the Thornwood area of the city, shows a normal functioning living room set up in its initial photos.

But as the camera pans round to the other side of the room, there is a small couch sitting underneath what appears to be a bed above.

To the right of the bed is shelving which appears to be used as makeshift stairs leading up to the bed itself.

The kitchen in the next room has been described as 'spacious' (Rightmove)

And while the fitting of the bed is a bit of a tight squeeze, the property boasts a “spacious” dining/kitchen area in the next room.

Moving Estate Agents describes the property as having a “versatile layout” which “can be adapted to suit the individual purchaser”.

But online window shoppers do not appear to be buying that characterisation.

One social media user described the flat as “mental”, while another took aim at the price tag of offers over £115,000.

“Offers over £115k and there’s no bedroom. Glasgow property prices please calm the f**k down”, they wrote.

More information on the Glasgow property can be found here.
