Scots cops probing 'unexplained' death of 36-year-old man

Police are probing the death of a man in Glasgow after reports were made of 'concern for a person' shortly before he was found.

Officers were called to Cornwall Street South in the Kinning Park area of the city at around 11.30pm on Wednesday October 5, reports Glasgow Live. There, they found a 36-year-old man, who was then rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Sadly, he was pronounced dead by medics. Cops launched a probe following the death and eyewitnesses say forensics teams were seen in the street during the day on Thursday. Police Scotland says they are treating the death as "unexplained".

A force spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of concern for a person at a property on Cornwall Street South, Glasgow around 11.30pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

"A 36-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"It is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
