Scots cops investigate after man disappears while out walking on Christmas Day

Police Scotland has appealed to the public for help tracing a man who disappeared overnight.

Paul MacCulloch vanished around midnight on Christmas Day.

The 32-year-old was walking in the direction of the Polish Monument, Invergordon, when he was last seen.

He is described as being around 5ft 9ins tall, with short brown hair, and athletically built.

He was wearing a red North Face puffer jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and khaki Adidas trainers.

Sergeant Nicola Macdonald of Alness Police said: "We are increasingly concerned about Mr MacCulloch who has now been missing overnight.

"This is completely out of character.

"If anyone has any knowledge of his whereabouts or has possibly seen Paul, I would urge them to get in touch by calling us on 101."
