TRNSMT festival is set to take place this weekend, bringing together the very best of current music and some classic favourites.
Glasgow Green will be full of music fans from July 7 to 9, keen to catch iconic sets from the likes of Pulp, The 1975, Sam Fender, Kasabian and George Ezra.
It'll be the sixth time the festival has taken over one of Glasgow's largest parks, so if you're planning to head there for a weekend full of tunes and entertainment, ScotRail has issued some important information on how to get there and back.
Festivalgoers have been advised that there isn't any parking at the no-camping festival, so the best way to get there is via public transport.
And for those planning on getting the train, ScotRail has announced it'll be running extra services to accommodate to the large crowds.
In a tweet, the rail operator said: "We'll have more trains, including late-night services, for fans going to TRNSMT festival."
Getting to TRNSMT by train
Extra seats will be added to trains in and out of Glasgow throughout the three-day festival, so that as many people as possible can get there and make the most of the weekend.
It's worth keeping in mind that some trains have been re-timed to support the big event, so before you travel, check your timetable carefully to ensure you can get to Glasgow Green in time.
The park can be accessed from five stations, all within a 20 minute walk – Bridgeton, High Street, Glasgow Central, Glasgow Queen Street, and Argyle Street station.
However for those going to the event on Sunday, remember that Argyle Street station shuts at 6pm, so you may have to leave from a different one.
Additional late night trains will also be in operation with later trains to Inverclyde, Ayr, Edinburgh, and East Kilbride.
How to buy train tickets
In order to experience the smoothest journey possible when heading to TRNSMT, ScotRail highly recommends buying your tickets in advance.
You can do this via the mTicket system on the ScotRrail app, meaning you can buy tickets from the comfort of your home, or on the way to the station, and it will instantly become available on your mobile device.
And although heading to a festival is an exciting time, passengers are being reminded that all alcohol is strictly prohibited aboard ScotRail services as well as in all the stations.
