The Glaswegian rockers launched into the 1977 Baccara disco track during their main stage set at TRNSMT on Saturday afternoon -hours after the national team lost 1-0 against Morocco in the World Cup - and the moment sent the crowd into a frenzy.
The band originally performed it for The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio before it became an official single with profits made from the song given to charity.
Earlier, The Fratellis kicked off their set with Henrietta before performing the 2006 track Creepin' Up The Backstairs.

Frontman Jon Fratelli, who donned a trilby hat and band T-shirt for the occasion, continued with hits including Whistle for the Choir and Baby Fratelli - both featured in their 2006 debut Costello Music.
The set was made extra lively with brass musicians amping up the atmosphere and trio of female singers bringing soul to the Fratellis' sound.
Jon signed off by saying, “It’s been a pleasure playing for you,” before delivering the song everyone was waiting for, Chelsea Dagger.
