With the new year here, lots of us are making plans for the 12 months ahead.
And some dates of note throughout 2023 are the scheduled bank holidays. There are bank holiday dates throughout the year, with two coming early in the year - January 2 and January 3 - due to New Year falling on a weekend this time round.
And there are plenty more days to look forward to, with dates to note in the spring, summer and into next autumn and winter. There is also an extra date this year to celebrate King Charles' coronation.

Bank holidays can be great for bagging an extra day off work, but they can also cause some chaos with schools closing and things like public transport reduced. But whether the extra days will bring you joy or prove a nuisance, it is worth being prepared and noting when they fall.
