Savvy woman shares trick to get birthday freebies - from food to beauty items

What better way to celebrate your birthday than with some free items? One savvy woman has shared her top advice for how you can enjoy your special day completely free of charge - from securing free food, free drinks, and even free beauty products.

The simple hack is available to anyone that signs up for a company's email newsletter, but it's vital that you know where to look first. Kathryn Leech - otherwise known as Every Little Penny on video-streaming TikTok - shared the money-saving tip on her viral account, which posts videos vowing to "save you every little penny".

In Kathryn's video, which has now surpassed 82,000 views to date, she listed several places where you can benefit from receiving freebies on your birthday.

She explained: "If your birthday's coming up, you need to be taking advantage of all the free things you could be getting.

"Here you can get free food: Frankie & Benny's, Greggs, Barburrito, Krispy Kreme, Beefeater Grill, Pizza Express, and Costa."

She continued: "Here you can get free drinks: TGI Fridays, All Bar One, Miller & Carter, Boost, Starbucks, and Kaspa's.

"Here you can get free beauty products or discounts: Space NK, The Body Shop, Cult Beauty, Superdrug, House of Fraser, Feelunique, and Kiko Milano.

"And here you can get discounts off clothing: ASOS, New Look, Nike Store, H&M, and Swarovski."

Kathryn finished the video by encouraging people to follow her TikTok account, so they can be kept up to date on the latest ways to save some cash.

Following the clip, TikTokers rushed to the comment section to share their gratitude.

One person gushed: "Love this!!"

"Love the birthday freebies!" A second added beside three grinning emojis.

"How do we get them?" A different user asked.

Kathryn replied: "Sign up to their email newsletters and put your date of birth in - for the food ones you can download their apps."
