Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz telephoned on Sunday Indonesian President Joko Widodo to offer his condolences over the victims of the earthquake and tsunami that struck the city of Palu on Friday.

King Salman underscored the Kingdom’s solidarity with Indonesia during this tragedy.

Widodo, for his part, thanked King Salman for his generous stances and support for the Indonesian people.

At least 832 people were killed in Palu on Sulawesi island, which was hit by tsunami waves as high as six meters (20 feet) following the 7.5 magnitude tremor.
