Saudi Jet Crashes in Assir

Arab coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki. (SPA)

A Saudi Royal Air Forces jet crashed in the Assir region on Thursday after a training mission, announced the Arab coalition.

Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that the Tornado fighter crashed due to a technical malfunction as it was returning from its training mission.

The pilots survived the crash, he added.
