Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, stressed on Sunday Riyadh’s keenness on bolstering joint Arab work and solidarity “to meet the aspirations and hopes of Arab nations and their peoples towards achieving progress and development.”
The oral message was addressed by the Crown Prince to Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi.
The message was delivered by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who met Sisi in Cairo.
The message also tackled bilateral ties between the Kingdom and Egypt and ways to boost and develop them.
For his part, Sisi underscored the unique relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, saying they are the foundation of the stability of the entire Arab region.
Presidency spokesman Ambassador Bassam Rady said Prince Faisal conveyed to Sisi the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed.
He stressed the depth of the historic ties that bind their countries and the Kingdom’s keenness to bolster them on different levels and continue the intense coordination and joint work with Egypt to address various regional and international affairs.
Rady added that Sisi and his guest also tackled a number of regional and international developments of joint interest.
