The Saudi cabinet underlined on Tuesday that the Kingdom has since its establishment respected the principles of peaceful coexistence and neighborliness.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet meeting that was held in Riyadh.

The Kingdom also completely respects the sovereignty and independence of nations and refrains from meddling in their internal affairs out of its belief these principles are enough to resolve all conflicts and crises, starting with the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Saudi Arabia is keen on resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and is exerting efforts to reach political solutions to the crises in Syria, Yemen, Libya and Sudan.

The ministers called on parties to “seriously act” to confront all threats and destabilizing foreign meddling so that Arab nations and their peoples could enjoy security, stability and development.

Saudi Arabia also views with serious concern the developments in the Middle East, voicing its support for the complete sovereignty of Cyprus. It urged all parties to commit to United Nations Security Council resolutions on resolving conflicts in service of regional and international peace and stability.

Saudi Arabia also reiterated its strong condemnation of the terrorist Houthi militia attack against a mosque in Yemen’s Marib last week. At least a hundred were killed in the attack that drew widespread Arab and international condemnation.

Furthermore, the cabinet hailed the Saudi Arabia’s ranking as the top reformer and improver among 190 economies in the World Bank’s Women, Business and the Law 2020 report, achieving a score of 70.6 out of 100.

The report placed the Kingdom first among Gulf Cooperation Council countries and second in the Arab world.

The Kingdom’s new global standing, as pointed out by the World Bank report, is testimony to its leadership’s commitment to expanding economic opportunities to all citizens, notably women and youth, as outlined in Vision 2030.
