Saturday Night Takeaway viewers spot clue Dec is 'angry' at co-star's prank

Saturday Night Takeaway fans think they spotted a clue that host Dec Donnelly was raging at a co-star during this weekend's live show.

Dec appeared to have been betrayed after a competition with his co-host Ant McPartlin, and viewers suggest that he was not happy about it.

As the moment played out, fans were sure Dec was "angry" at co-star Stephen Mulhern after his hilarious betrayal during the show.

It happened following the latest Ant vs Dec, which saw Ant lowered into a freezing cold ice bath after losing the quiz.

Dec won and he was delighted to escape the icy waters.

But Stephen had a trick up his sleeve, and with the backing of the audience he plunged Dec into the cold water, despite him having won the challenge.

Dec looked panicked and began screaming at Stephen: "Don't you dare, don't you dare!"

The audience chanted for him to drop Dec into the water.

Stephen began to lower him and laughed at Dec, who was clearly not happy as he demanded he stopped.

Suddenly Dec was lowered in and he let out a huge gasp.

As Ant and Stephen laughed along with the audience, viewers at home also found it amusing - while some noted Dec's facial expression.

Taking to Twitter, fans commented on how Dec looked "angry" and "p****d off" at his friend and co-star..

One fan wrote: "I think Dec is genuinely p***ed off with Stephen for dropping him into the ice bath."

Another fan said: "Dec is super p****d but it doesn’t matter because Stephen got us this meme," as a third viewer confessed: "I fancy angry dec so much."

Ant and Dec recently announced the line-up for I'm A Celebrity's spin-off in South Africa.

The stars will compete with each other to be the first I’m A Celebrity Legend, with Ant and Dec hosting the show at the end of April. There will be no public vote.

It will include Shaun Ryder, Amir Khan, Jordan Banjo and Phil Tufnell.

Joining them are Janice Dickinson, Fatima Whitbread, Paul Burrell, Helen Flanagan and Carol Vorderman.

Some fans were not happy about those confirmed, with many suggesting there were other stars who would have been better for an All Stars spin-off.

Taking to Twitter after the big news, one viewer commented: "Bit of a disappointing lineup tbf."

Another said: "For 'All Stars' this line up is dire. Its as dull as the background! Roll on Australia in November."

A third added: "Quite disappointing," as a fourth viewer tweeted: "Anyone else think the Im a celeb all star lineup is shocking?"

Meanwhile, chatting with Lorraine Kelly at the start of this year, Ant and Dec revealed a few more secrets about the upcoming special.

Dec explained: "It’s kind of an all-stars… Taking some of your favourite campmates from the last 20 years and taking them for a brand new challenge in South Africa.

"So it's a completely different landscape and they're doing it again. They're competing to become the first ever I'm A Celebrity ‘Legend of the Savanna’... It’s very special."

Revealing the differences to the live Australian series, Ant added: "And it's slightly different to the show we do in Australia because they go head to head in trials and whoever loses leaves. It’s quite brutal, so that’s how we decided the winner."

Dec then chimed in and declared: "We’ve done it, we’ve shot it and it’s really, really good."
