Fleur East was quick to tell a fan that she hadn't been 'sacked' from Saturday Night Takeaway after she announced a big new role on Twitter.
Former X Factor and I'm A Celebrity contestant Fleur has been a new recruit to Ant and Dec' s award-winning show this year, travelling the country to surprise viewers whose homes are near the end of the Takeaway rainbow.
She's proved to be a popular addition to the show with fans so, one was rather concerned when the Sax singer posted on Twitter that she'd joined the cast of Tomorrow Morning, a new musical film which will see her star alongside the likes of Samantha Barks and Ramin Karimloo.
She retweeted the post about the film from producer Nick Winston but one fan replied: "Does that mean takeaway has sacked you so you have more free time ?"
But Fleur, who lost out to Ben Haenow for the X Factor crown in 2014, was quick to shut that concern down, replying: "Lol no! I’m on tonight! This will start shooting after Takeaway is finished."
Other viewers will be grateful to learn that Fleur is still very much part of the Takeaway team as, during this weekend's show, there was plenty of love for her on social media.
One fan tweeted: "Always love seeing @FleurEast on @itvtakeaway," and another posted: "I really love @FleurEast being on @itvtakeaway so much"
Another big admirer of Fleur also took to Twitter to comment: " @FleurEast absolutely stunning tonight"
Fleur's appearance at a mystery location on Saturday came after Ant and Dec made a big admission on the bizarre behaviour on Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women on Monday.
Dec said: "It even made news in France! Lorraine Kelly made news in France.
"It's been all over the papers and social media"
Ant added: "Now a lot of people were speculating that it might have had something to do with Saturday Night Takeaway.
"We'd like to make it very clear that those people...were absolutely right and all will be revealed later in the show."
