Saturday Night Takeaway has a 'nightmare' as 'everything goes wrong'

Saturday Night Takeaway was back on our screens tonight with hosts Ant and Dec after a week off.

The weekend ITV show was taken off air last week to make room for live sports. But this week they were back - and everything seemed to be going wrong.

The show featured a number of blunders including cutting to the wrong family home when showing the 'happiest minute of the week segment'. In the section of the show the hosts celebrate people who have done extraordinarily kind things.

Dec said: "In Lancashire, we're coming to you - Robert and Donna Rowland! Hi Robert and Donna." The screen cut to show a family at home but they looked perplexed rather than excited.

But Dec continued as he said: "Your son Adam and his wife Sarah are in the armed forces and are deployed all over the world so you're always stepping in to take care of your granddaughter Penny." With that, the video cut from the confused household to show an older couple and a young girl all jumping about with excitement instead.

The blunder was rectified quickly and Dec continued professionally but fans on Twitter were still quick to point it out. Mr Al said: "#SaturdayNightTakeaway they’re having a bit of a mare this week! Shopping lists and cutting to the wrong bloody house!"

Trevor said: "Oops, tonight’s #SaturdayNightTakeaway is full of errors so far. Wrong clues in Read My Lips, after not checking the height of Anna’s chair, and now cutting away to the wrong home in Happiest Minute of the Week. Oops! #SNT". Meanwhile, Wendy said: "What with nachos lady and now did the happiest minute cut to the wrong house then?! It swapped couples! Think they're having technical issues tonight lol #SaturdayNightTakeaway"

The show also messed up in the 'read my lips' segment. They had the wrong words and tennis balls going AWOL.
