Theresa May sketch: PM's Brexit woes mocked on Saturday Night Live in hilarious video

US comedy show Saturday Night Live has mocked Theresa May’s Brexit woes in a hilarious sketch, showing a Prime Minister down on her luck.

Everything goes wrong for Mrs May, who is played by Kate McKinnon in the TV sketch.

In the video, the Prime Minister is seen leaving the house and walking down the street, where people deliberately bump into her and a woman films her on her phone.

In one scene, Mrs May sits down to eat fish and chips in a park but accidentally covers them in vinegar before a bird defecates all over her meal.

In another, she is splashed with muddy water from a puddle by a passing taxi.

She is also seen greeting two of the Queen’s Guard, but the pair stick their middle finger up at her.

And when she types "Theresa May Fans" into Google, she gets "0 results".

The sketch also mocks her “Maybot” dance, which she first showed off during a visit to Kenya last year before reprising them at the Conservative Party Conference to ABBA’s Dancing Queen.

After sharing a passionate kiss with Winston Churchill, Mrs May walks into Parliament, where Jeremy Corbyn says she has "solved Brexit and saved Britain.”

But she wakes up sprawled across a sofa to discover that his words were just a dream, with news coverage playing which says she is “not in control.”

Sara Bareilles soundtracks the skit with She Used to Be Mine from her Broadway musical Waitress.

Harington was joined by several Game Of Thrones co-stars as he hosted Saturday Night Live ahead of the premiere of the show's final season.
