Satish Kaushik left his fans and friends shocked with his sudden demise. The actor-director passes away after suffering from a heart attack on March 8.
Soon after the news broke, his industry friends expressed their shock on social media as they mourned his loss. Celebrities like Javed Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Anup Soni, Raj Babbar, Arjun Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Anu Malik and others reached his Mumbai residence ahead of the funeral.

The actor was visiting Delhi to see a friend and was at his house when he started feeling uneasy and restless. He was rushed to the hospital, however, all medical efforts to resuscitate him failed and he was declared dead on arrival. His body will be brought to Mumbai after a postmortem is conducted.
Satish Kaushik has films like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, ‘Brick Lane’, ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ and many others to his credit. He has directed films such as ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’, ‘Prem’, ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’, ‘Tere Naam’ and ‘Kaagaz’, among others.
