Sarah Beeny shares sweet update ahead of final chemotherapy session

Sarah Beeny has shared a candid photo of her sleeping surrounded by her adoring pets ahead of her final chemotherapy session.

In the shot, the Channel 4 presenter looked peaceful as she rested in bed with her two dogs and ginger moggy by her side for moral support.

Captioning the photo, which she shared on Thursday, she penned: “No need for a hot water bottle tonight…..!! #dog #cat”.

Her latest post comes hours after she revealed she was set to undergo her final chemotheraphy session on Friday.

Previously, the TV star explained that her previous session was cancelled after medics discovered her liver numbers were too high and her white blood cell count was too low.

Sharing the happier news, the property expert posted a beaming photo of her enjoying “a good day” playing a board game with her sons on Instagram on Thursday.

In the photo, the 50-year-old appeared to be having a wonderful time as her sons gathered around the table and wrote: “Never ever let your children beat you at monopoly!!!

“A good day today — thumbs up for last chemo on Friday AND Raffey landed on Mayfair!!! Xxxx”.

In light of her treatment update, followers flocked to her comments section and shared their best wishes, with one writing, “Congratulations for getting through your chemo!!”

“So glad your last chemo coming up absolute warrior p.s did anyone cheat in the monopoly??!!!....the banker usually does,” another said.

A third shared: “You’re a big inspiration Sarah you’re doing great and good luck with the last chemo, my friend just had her last one too. Routing for you both to be fit and well soon x.”

On Wednesday, the Channel 4 star sent New Year well wishes to her followers on social media as she gave them another update on her breast cancer battle.

Sharing a photo of a coffee mug and a few biscuits, Beeny explained she had been “laying around like a Dowager Duchess” following her cancelled treatment.

Captioning the post, she revealed: “Been delivered the perfect tray this morning by the brilliant Billy Swift!! Happy slightly late New Year to everyone...

“Been laying around like a Dowager Duchess a bit since last Chemo on 30th was cancelled because liver numbers too high and white blood cells too low…

“Just as you think you’re there….. bit less Eeyore now and hoping bloods better this week…. Hope you all were partying for me!!! Thank you all for your lovely messages!”

The property expert shared news of her diagnosis in August, and previously said that she almost expected to develop the disease after losing her mum to cancer aged 39.

Beeny — who is best known for her work on UK property programmes including Help! My House Is Falling Down and Sarah Beeny’s New Life In The Country — told The Telegraph that she had begun a course of chemotherapy to treat the cancer and had surgery.

At the time, she also shared that she was set to undergo radiotherapy in the New Year.
