Five other members of the UTCA also filed their nominations for various posts on the last day of filing here.

Tandon, under whose leadership the UTCA had gained recognition from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2019, has been instrumental in shaping and developing the UT cricket teams across various age group categories in both men and women sections. Under Tandon, the UTCA has also organised domestic competitions involving various teams of the UTCA as a precursor to the national domestic cricket season.

Tandon's name was proposed by Dr Vibha Ray, Subhash Mahajan, Ravindra Talwar and Sharanjit Singh for the top post, while outgoing joint secretary Yuvraj Mahajan has filed nominations for the post of vice president after being backed by incumbent Hari Singh Khurana, and Rahul Talwar.

Devendra Sharma, who is currently holding the post of treasurer, has filed nomination for the post of secretary, which was supported by Desh Deepak Khanna and Sachin Kumar. MP Singh and Gagan Thukral proposed Ravinder Singh for the post of joint secretary. Alok Krishan was proposed for the treasurer's post by Raghavendra Chhibber and Anoop Gupta.

Daniel Banerjee's name was proposed by Rakesh Jolly and Shiven Tandon for UTCA's apex member's post.
