This is a pivotal game for both teams. San Jose State is at home and is playingmuch better with the goal of just maybe staying in the hunt for a bowl game. There are two key items to watch for in this matchup.
Quarterback Josh Love has a chance to prove himself against a really good defense. He does have three games of more than 400 yards and is tied for the fewest interceptions in the conference with just two. One of those three happens to be Aztecs signal-caller Ryan Agnew.
San Diego State has been on a roll of late and is finally getting everyone healthy and one thing to look for in this game is Juwan Washington. He has been getting the carries since getting back into the lineup but he is averaging just 3.05 yards per carry and has just on touchdown.
This game vs. the Spartans is a chance for him to have a good game since San Jose State is allowing 4.53 yards per rush. So, there is an opportunity for Washington to have a big game.
