Spike Lee had a perfect response to Samuel L. Jackson’s Knicks joke at the Oscars

The Oscars is where you mostly hear stuff about movies, because, well, it’s an award show for movies, so that make sense.

It’s not normally a place where New York Knicks scores are announced but that’s exactly what happened during Sunday night’s broadcast when the great Samuel L. Jackson went off script to tell Spike Lee some good news.

You see, the Knicks have been terrible at home this year, losing 18 straight at the Madison Square Garden. But that streak came to end Sunday night when they beat the San Antonio Spurs and Jackson was able to give Spike Lee, who loves the Knicks, this update:
