Sam Smith has cancelled more gigs after being ordered by doctors to put his health first.
The Oscar and Grammy Award winner has been forced to pull out of the Billboard Music Awards next week and performing at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the weekend.
It comes after he cut his South African tour short, walking off stage 45 minutes into his set last week because of vocal strain.
The 26-year-old singer has been advised to rest his voice and put his 'recovery and health' first.
It's not the first time that the Promises hitmaker has had vocal troubles, back in May 2015 he had surgery to stop recurrent vocal cord hemorrhage.
A statement from Sam's team was posted to Twitter which confirmed the news: "In the wake of cutting his South African tour short last week, Sam's medical specialists are requiring him to have further rest.
"Regrettably this means that he will be unable to perform at the Azerbaijan Gran Prix in Baku this weekend or the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas next week.
"We apologise for the disappointment for those affected, but the primary focus at this time needs to be on Sam's recovery and health."

As well as vocal problems Sam recently told fans how he'd been battling with anxiety while performing on stage.
"The last week, or so I've been doing these incredible shows, and from my pics, I look super happy and calm and collected, and I am happy, and sometimes I am calm.
"But the last few weeks my anxiety has been SO F***ING INTENSE!! I can't even begin to explain."

He added: "I've felt completely out of control and as if I'm going to snap and everything is going to come undone.
"However, for the first time ever I have been trying to really tackle and fight against these horrible thoughts and tidal waves of fear."
After Sam's surgery in 2015 he opened up about how much of a "struggle" it was to recover.
But he joked: "I’ve got to plan longer resting breaks in between shows. I just need to stop writing songs that are too high to sing."
