Sam Heughan reveals hilarious item Outlander co-star charged to his room

Outlander star Sam Heughan clearly gets on well with his Men in Kilts co-star Graham McTavish.

And it's just as well given the hilarious habit McTavish has of charging drinks to his pal's room.

The duo has been entertaining fans throughout lockdown with their latest show, which launched last month.

Buzzfeed interviewed the pair, and tested them on how well they know one another.

And when the topic of their favourite drink came up, Heughan couldn't resist reminding McTavish of a cheeky prank he enjoys playing.

They agreed that Sam's favourite drink was clearly whisky, before Heughan added: "For Graham? A cold Chablis. Some sort of white wine. The most expensive white wine, of which he will then charge, not to production, not to his room, he will charge it to my room.

"What you don't know is that I will charge my room to your room."

Men in Kilts sees the duo travel around Scotland taking on all manner of challenges and experiences – from travelling around in a motorhome, to dancing a Highland fling and even leading a pipe band through Edinburgh.

When asked how the Outlander co-stars first met, Heughan added: "It was in London, in Soho, and I was cast as Jamie Fraser in Outlander and I was auditioning other actors for other characters and parts.

"In walks McTavish himself sporting what can only be described as a very overt outfit. I think it was a pink sweater, some sort of cap, a scarf.

"He came in and tried to take over the space. Yeah, that was the first time we met."
