Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has questioned Leeds United's expected appointment of Sam Allardyce to replace Javi Gracia, claiming the timing of it is 'bonkers'.
The Whites have just four matches left in their Premier League campaign, having to face Manchester City, Newcastle United, West Ham and then Tottenham on the final day.
But with such little time until the end of the season, and with four incredibly tough opponents left remaining, Bent is unsure whether sacking Javi Gracia is even worth it at this point in the season.

"I've got no problem with getting Sam in, but it's the timing. What really can he change around in just four games?" he questioned on TalkSPORT earlier this afternoon.
"A lot of people will point to Roy Hodgson and say 'Look at Roy at Crystal Palace'. The difference there is he was there for four years before he went back there and was only out of work for a year.
"That makes more sense because Hodgson was there before recently. He knows the club, he knows the players - a lot of them were there when he was there, some he signed.
"This Sam one, it just feels odd to me. Say they get smashed at the weekend - then what? I can understand why they've bought in Big Sam but the timing for me is bonkers."
