Sainsbury's shoppers 'delighted' by vegan milkshake range as they rush to stock up

If you have issues with dairy or lactose and therefore tend to stay away from dairy products, it can be a bit tricky to find drinks that are like their dairy versions.

And when it comes to milkshakes it can be pretty tricky with many of them turning out to be watery and not as thick as the dairy versions.

But now one drinks company has come out with dairy free versions of milkshakes and it seems to be going down a treat.

Taking to Facebook's Food Finds UK group one shopper snapped a photo of what they had found. They captioned it adding they had found it in Sainsbury's for £1.40 .

It is currently on sale as, according to the Sainsbury's website, they usually cost almost £2 retailing for £1.60. And it seems shoppers are impressed with the range with many adding it's a 'lovely' drink which they didn't expect given it had no dairy.

The company, Shaken Other, also create dairy milkshakes which are just as popular. Both versions boast flavours such as strawberry, salted caramel and of course the classic option, chocolate.

The pasteurised dairy-free cocoa shake is made with coconut milk and is suitable for vegans and those on a glute-free diet. As well as this, it also has fortified with vitamins B12 & D, calcium and iodine.

In response to the post one said: "These are so good."
