Ben Watson returned to the starting line-up as Nottingham Forest prepared to play their first home game since the season’s restart.
The midfielder had missed the 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday after picking up a knock, but returned to the XI against Huddersfield Town as head coach Sabri Lamouchi made just the one change.
It meant there was no return for Samba Sow, who was again left out of the squad, having continued to struggle with a knee problem.
Watson took the place of Ryan Yates, who dropped to the bench against the Terriers as the Reds looked to get back to winning ways.
In an empty City Ground, with the match taking place behind closed doors, Brice Samba once again took up his spot between the posts.
Matty Cash, Tobias Figueiredo, Joe Worrall and Yuri Ribeiro comprised the back four, with Watson and Tiago Silva in the defensive midfield roles ahead of them.
After his first league start at Hillsborough, Brennan Johnson kept his place in the side, linking up with Joe Lolley and Sammy Ameobi to support lone striker Lewis Grabban.
Loan winger Adama Diakhaby was not permitted to play against his parent club, so there was a change on the bench.
Striker Tyler Walker was among the substitutes, along with Yates, as Alfa Semedo also missed out on the squad.
Jordan Smith, Nuno Da Costa, Joao Carvalho, John Bostock, Carl Jenkinson, Michael Dawson and Alex Mighten made up the bench.
Forest: Samba, Cash, Figueiredo, Worrall, Ribeiro, Watson, Silva, Lolley, Johnson, Ameobi, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Da Costa, Carvalho, Bostock, Jenkinson, Dawson, Yates, Walker, Mighten.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, made three changes from the side which suffered defeat at home to Swansea last weekend.
