S Club 7's Paul Cattermole was found dead on Thursday, April 7.

The singer, who shared his last social media post three weeks ago, expressed his excitement to reunite with his S Club 7 band members on an Instagram post.

The tragic news comes weeks after the band confirmed plans for a reunion, with tour dates announced across the country. Announcing the heartbreaking news on Twitter, S Club 7's official account shared a photo of the 46-year-old.

They wrote: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.

"There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.

"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
