Rylan Clark-Neal and his ex are 'in a better place' after devastating marriage split

Rylan Clark-Neal and his ex Dan Neal are now "in a better place" after it was revealed they split.

The duo hit headlines back in June with the devastating news after being married for six years.

An insider told The Sun: “It was a very sad period but after it all came out into the open they seem to be in a better place and Dan has been back at the home at times.

“Everyone who knows them likes them very much, so hopefully things are working out.”

Mirror Online have contacted reps for comment.

According to the publication, former policeman Dan was spotted back at their marital home last week.

A source told the paper they saw Dan's Range Rover parked outside the Essex property he had shared with Rylan.

The 32-year-old TV presenter announced the split several months ago in a statement.

The statement came after fans became concerned that after noticing the star had been missing from his BBC Radio 2 show for weeks.

He said he blamed himself for the split and said he was taking time off to focus on his mental health.

Rylan said: "I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage."

He added that he was trying to "seek help" as he was struggling with some personal issues and was "not in a good place at the moment".

Rylan concluded: “I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time.”

At the beginning of August, Rylan was spotted wearing his wedding ring at his brother's wedding.

It came several days after he returned to work with a brand new podcast.

He pulled out of a string of TV and radio commitments in during his three-month break from the spotlight but returned with his own show.

The new podcast series, called The Ry-Union, will see the Strictly It Takes Two host chatting to a host of celebs with his pal Katie Price taking the hot seat in week one.

The show will be informative as well as offering the expected thrills and giggles, as Rylan shares his insight into the entertainment industry with the stars who have supported him since he shot to fame on The X Factor.
