Ryanair launches massive sale with flights going for less than £10

Ryanair has launched a massive sale for flights across Europe.

The budget airline has axed prices by up to 25 per cent for flights across the continent, with some going as little as £9.99 one way.

The company is facing strike action as union chiefs claim it has "lost" the chance to negotiate a deal to avoid the industrial action, planned Thursday and Friday.

But the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) has revealed Ryanair is currently seeking a High Court Injunction on Wednesday in a bid to halt the strike.

Some of these services could be hit if the strike - which relates to pay and conditions for the company's 180 pilots - goes ahead.

The planned action is set to start at 12.01am on Thursday and last for 48 hours.

But the action has not stopped the company launching the large sale which covers flights from October to December - and actually runs the two days of the strikes.

The company claims 11,000 seats are now 25 per cent cheaper.

Destinations include Pisa, Porto, Bordeaux, Dublin, Bari, Cologne, Madrid Oslo, Nice, Barcelona and Ibiza.
