Ryan Kent fronts up on Rangers moment that 'annoyed' him and points to building chemistry

Ryan Kent bounced off the pitch after Rangers smashed Aberdeen 4-0 and warned the rest of the Premiership their best is yet to come.

The English winger admits the confident team are seeing their chemistry build every week with the fluidity and interchangeability of the squad adding to Steven Gerrard 's significant armoury.

Kent was at his brilliant best when he nutmegged Funso Ojo in the centre of midfield before driving at goal and firing past the helpless Joe Lewis for the opening goal.

It was his second chance of the game after being slipped through on goal by James Tavernier early doors but his shot was well saved.

And Kent, who's desperate to rack up significant goal and assist numbers this term, admitted the goal was the ideal tonic to the frustration he felt at missing the gilt-edged chance.

He told Rangers TV : "It can be difficult coming from international breaks as other boys have had games with their countries so to come back in and put in a convincing performance and result is positive.

"I was quite annoyed at myself today that I didn't put the first one away but I managed to make up for it with a good goal.

"As long as I keep getting into dangerous areas and adding numbers it's all I can do.

"We are building on the chemistry in training every week and there are a number of players who can play in any position and you can see that every week. It's pleasing on the eye."
