Dundee's move for former Rangers player Ryan Jack has collapsed, it has emerged.
The former Gers and Aberdeen midfielder wants to return to Scotland.
In recent days, his agent has held talks with Dundee about the 33-year-old moving to Dens Park.
Steven Pressley was keen to add experience to his midfield options.
Jack currently plies his trade in the Turkish second tier with Esenler Erokspor, and has done so since his release from Rangers last summer.
It's believed he's informed them of his desire to make a return to his homeland.

However, a deal relied on the 33-year-old being released by Esenler before tonight's 11pm deadline.
That would have enabled him to continue negotiations with the Dens Park side in the coming days.
However, Esenler were seemingly unwilling to release Jack from his contract, and so, any deal has fallen flat, The Courier reports.
It remains to be seen whether or not Jack will get his wish to return to Scotland, with the player out of favour in Türkiye.
