Rural Irish house goes for double the price after two hour bidding war

A rural house, located in Cashel, Co. Tipperary has been sold for double the asking price after a two-hour bidding war.

Spacious family homes that sit on acres of land are hard to come by in Ireland, and so it’s understandable why 186 people wanted to be in with a chance of securing this home.

Although the property is in need of a face lift from the new owners, the spacious layout and vast amount of land make it the perfect place for a family.

According to a description provided by the seller, “This property is a detached three bedroom house.

“The property is arranged over two storeys beneath a pitched roof.

“We are informed the property extends to approximately 188 sq. m (2,027 sq. ft) On a site area extending to approximately 2.5 hectares (5.9 acres).”
