A female runner has been taken to hospital after being hit by a falling tree near the River Thames in south west London.
Paramedics were called to Barn Elms Boathouse, Barnes, at about 07.20am on Monday where they treated the injured woman.
It is understood she was also helped by one of the coaches at the rowing club near Thames Path, which remains partially closed while the tree is removed.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called today at 7.18am to reports of an incident near Barn Elms Boathouse, Barnes, SW13.
“We sent an ambulance and treated a woman before taking her to hospital.”
