The Rule of Six is back today, meaning up to six people can meet up outside while socially distancing.
The rule also allows two households of any size to meet outdoors.
This change to lockdown guidelines comes as the second part of stage one in the roadmap for unlocking the country.

In addition to the rule of six, people are also being asked to 'stay local' rather than at home - though the word 'local' in the guidance has never been specifically defined.
Social distancing is still required although you are allowed to use the toilet when visiting someone in their garden.

People have taken to Twitter to express their joy at being allowed to socialise outdoors.

Not everyone is so thrilled, with some people thinking about potential awkwardness after prolonged time apart.

Besides any potential growing pains with getting back social, some people are worrying that the reintroduction of the rule will lead to a spike in cases.
