Ruben Dias and Luke Shaw have been nominated for the 2021 Ladbrokes Northwest Football Awards Premier League Player of the Season award.
The Man City and Manchester Unite d defenders were exceptional for their clubs last season, as Dias lifted the Premier League trophy in his debut campaign in England while Shaw was one of the most productive full-backs in Europe.
Both men have made a five-man shortlist for the Premier League Player of the Season award alongside Liverpool's Mo Salah, Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Burnley striker Chris Wood.
Voting is now live for fans to vote for their winner, with the winner being announced at a Gala Awards dinner at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford on Monday November 22nd at a live event hosted by BBC's Dan Walker. You can cast your votes here.
Elsewhere in the awards, former United academy star Will Keane is nominated for the League One Player of the Season award after his performances for Wigan, while current academy star Shola Shoretire and City youngster Romeo Lavia are nominated for The Athletic's Rising Star award.
In the women's game, City forward Chloe Kelly and United defender Ona Batlle have been nominated for the Women's Player of the Season award. Batlle has also been nominated for the Women's Rising Star award while City's representative in that category is youngster Lauren Hemp.
Voting closes on October 15th at 5:00pm UK time.
