Chalk this down under 'things we didn't expect to see in 2021'.
This series of RTE's hit show Prime Time has dealt with some very serious issues, and last night's episode was no different.
A report on the Mother and Baby Homes, a discussion about the culling of seals and deer and a study on how close Ireland is to 'herd immunity' in relation to Covid-19.
But the show finished with a global story.
There was a massive international police operation which saw hundreds arrested on Monday, with over 300 syndicates taken down as a result of a hack into a database which 20,000 criminals were using.
Speaking to Miriam O'Callaghan about the bust, RTÉ security correspondent Barry Cummins said: "It started with a confidential FBI source who had come up with the next generation encryption called Anon - and that grew through gangs in Australia. The scheme was run from 2018 until yesterday, and there were over 800 arrests around the world.
"There were 27 million messages across over a dozen languages caught. There were a number of murderous attacks thwarted as a result of the sting.
"Ireland were one of the countries affected by the Anon investigation. The countries with the largest use of the Anon phones were Germany, Serbia, the Netherlands, Spain and Australia."

A very serious story - which made it all the funnier that the RTÉ producers closed the show by playing 1995 chart-topper Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio over images from the sting.
"Wait did RTE prime time just play out to Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio" one user said on social media, with another responding to it saying "thought I was hallucinating there".
While another added: "Gangsta’s Paradise playing on Prime Time - never thought I would see the day"
