Rs 82 crore drugs seized in Manipur

Manipur IMPHAL Thoubal War on Drugs

IMPHAL: Stepping up the Manipur government's "War on Drugs" campaign, a team of state security forces busted a drug manufacturing unit and confiscated 54.68 kg of brown sugar in the Lilong area of Thoubal district on Sunday.

One person has been arrested. The total value of the seized drugs in the international black market is estimated to be Rs 82 crore, said police sources.
